Has anyone else ever noticed this?
« on: October 09, 2012, 04:29:41 PM »
Has anyone ever noticed that the ds9Quonos system in the latest KM doesn't have any textures for the planets in the system?

Well, at least not in my install.

Is this issue the case for anyone else?

Make sure that all of these nif files have their textures included:
Code: [Select]
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/Planet004.nif
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/Planet003.nif
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/Qonos.nif
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/Planet002.nif
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/Gamma1High.nif
data/Models/Environment/DS9FX/HighRes/bajor9High.nif

Thanks Mario, I'll check that out.

But I'm also curious if anyone else has encountered this issue.

BTW... I noticed that you have 924 cookies!! Holy smokes!

Sure.

I changed the LOD to the highest settings for that system in the options menu for the game and it took care of it.

For some reason, the default LOD settings when I first installed the latest KM were set to low or medium (can't remember which ATM).  Those settings apparently don't display any planet textures???  I also went ahead and set the LOD for all the other systems to high and now have textures on all the planets.
