Unknown BSOD
« on: February 09, 2014, 06:18:37 PM »
I recently installed a Windows update, which caused all my programs to hang, including BC. I uninstalled the update and BC still hangs, I ran km_clean.bat, when opening BC through the Maximum Warp Launcher, and now I got BSOD, the worst part is I don't know what caused it, if I don't know what caused it or how to find the problem, I can't fix it, I really do NOT want to reinstall BC Or KM, Please Help!!! :help:

I forgot to mention Is there a way to find a problem for a BSOD if the cause is unknown, like a program scan that runs the basic scripts required to run KM, than tell the probable cause of the BSOD and to fix it without reinstalling BC or KM? If I reinstall either I will lose 650+ ships I have installed. it took me over 2 years to get and installed them.

lol glad it's fixed there's a program called console tracker that helps to find errors like that. I would reccommend that you install Bcut and make a backup so that you won't lose all your stuff in the future. hope this helps in the future.
