ok I made my very first ship conversion, a simple Klingon fighter from an SFC mod.
I got all bugs worked out, except for one. I placed the locations on the pulse disruptors on where they need to be, BUT when the disruptors are fired, they are dead center and not firing from the guns!
 :banghead:     :help:
-
Go to the XYZ coordinates, and manually adjust the numbers until the Tip of the Triangle [fire point] is Within the Model.

-
				that's in Orientation right?

-
				Subsystem Properties >>> 3D position

-
				I did do that.
I made 4 disruptor cannons since the fighter has that as weapons.
 For Cannon 1 the X is -.272, Y is .03, and Z is -.039.
 Cannon2 is  .276 X, .03 Y, -.039 Z
 Cannon3 is  .276 X, .03 Y, -.052 Z
 Cannon4 is  -.272 X, .03 Y, -.052 Z
However that's just for cannon placement. the bolts still aim dead center and not from the cannons.

				In your menu [uptop of your MPE] in Edit   >>>   options , Your model scale Should read 0.01 , {Does it?}

suggestion,  delete the pyc, in hardpoints toooooo

Also can you get a shot from MPE?

-
				it is in .01.
also how do I make a screenshot in MPE?
-
				printscreen

-
Also does your Pulse look like this [see pic]

Like Aces said Print Scrn, open up MPE, load your model and HP , get what you want to take picture of [in this case your Pulse\disruptor/ cannon] then Push Print Scrn. paste into graphics program, save as JPG , and you got it.

This is what the pulses look like and the location of where they are supposed to fire.
-
OK , from looks of it, your going to need to go to your Y coordinate, and adjust the ###s to where thaat point is actually a-bit in model.

Look at MY pic , then yours, then mine see the difference

-
ok I tried the Y coordinates, but it still gives me the same location deal.

Did you click on the numbers , where the Y coordinates are, and type in a New number?

because if you changed the number it is not at the same location as you were
-
SO manual numbers won't work at all?
 What do I do then?
-
if you cant enter a manual Number, something, Else is drastically wrong. or are you entering a new manual number then [clicking on] 'Get Position" because you dont Have to. [do you have MSN]?

What new number did you type?

-
I typed in 0 for Y with the X being .27 and Y being -.03, and it made the pulse moved slightly to the right. still centered out, but on the right.
then I did 0 for XYZ which made the cannon location dead center, which the pulse fired dead center.
ALso the fighter is TINY, as in compared to a Bird of prey, it's the size of it's core.
-
HMM, load up everything , like normal.
place Pulse like you want it?

 {I still cant understand, why you cant enter manual numbers ,I am think out loud}

Look at Serie1, click on your Y numers, untill , they are highlighted.
-
I do want to place the pulse where I want it to be placed. However, it looks like everytime I make a coordinate, like X being 2, etc., the bolt STILL fires dead center.

-
From what I remember there was sometimes a bug with placement of pulse disruptors... where-ever you placed them, they still fire from the middle. I don't there was a solution to resolve it

Does the OTHER ships you have installed [in game] with pulse, fire correctly.
Example: sfrd_Ktinga or klingon BOP or romulan warbird, etc etc ETC?

ALSO: thiis ship  http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/JJverse_Ktinga;113683  showes good Example : zoom in very tight to where pulses are, look at them and adjust your XYZ coordinates one at time and observe,  if it what you like [after adjust]  click OK, and save it, then the program will ask if you wish to overwrite [its OK] click Yes\ok.

Thanks to a personal Help From a new friend, I am able to make accurate pulses. Thank you very much TiqHud.
This ship will be your gift to you :).
You may now place this in solved problems.
