DS9FX Xtended has missions which involve more than just fighting. Whether there are actual non-combat missions I can't tell for sure.

there are a FEW non combat missions in DS9FX Xtended. though far few and inbetween. they arent tied into the story missions, IIRC theres maybe 3 or 4 in the "mini missions" section.

i will say that that mod provides enough content and systems that you can pretty much explore them without the need for scripted mission.

Yeah I've done some exploring, I just wasn't sure if there were missions with objectives like "scan objects" or "move cargo". Things like that. I'll look through the DS9FX Xtended missions and see what I can find.
