Well the original is a pressed disc which is usually slightly thicker than a copied disc due to the protective layer of plastic.Obviously the BC artwork on the CD, and the professional print quality of the manual and sleeve insert, should all be clues.

To the first a writable CD will feel rough to the touch on the underside (it has no plastic shield)
Did Activision ever release a BC on CD with the Patch already installed?
