Well, I finally did enough to show some progress. As soon as I've added the equipment on the top, I'll get started on the Warp Sled. Not sure about the interchangable pods as I've only seen them side on. I will however need somebody to contact me regarding textures, so either through this thread or through PM so we can discuss how to transfer the file.

So until the next update this friday, enjoy.

Compliments and criticism are more than welcome and requested, as usual.

Yeah, finally found Boolean Combine, haha. Works wonders, and that only took me under an hour. But with the SUPERSECRETPROJECT I'm working on, that hour was as much as I could work on it. :v: If this turns out well, the other Trek project will look fantastic.

It looks nice.  One question that comes to mind is that-- will it be MVAM compatible?

And who better to bring it in than the new guy?

Yes, it will be MVAM compatible, as suggested in the Jenolan thread (Another TMP project I've got running alongside this)

Thank you, but I have enough reference pictures, though those would be good for whoever wishes to texture it. ;)

Don't worry mate, I wouldn't dream of adding a non-warp capable ship. :v:

Lol, you know, with something I just discovered, it may be ready for texturing by tomorrow night. Damned modelling, why must it be so addictive?

You're quite welcome to take the model once it's all done up Baz, after seeing your work, I'd be honoured to see anything of mine alongside yours, if that's what you're implying.

As for the textures, not yet.

I'll look forward to parking a couple in my hanger.

Side note: could my hanger be used as a spacedock replacement so we could see the shuttle dock in the game?

If you set it as part of the ship model and have that ship as a Starbase, I'm sure it could be worked out.

Oooh! Oooh! Very off-topic, but I you made a connie with MVAM for bay doors open and bay doors shut, you could make it so that you launch shuttles only when the doors are open, from the shuttle bay. *Dies from excitement*

Oh, by the way Prime your models look very nice and smooth, I'm jealous.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Just got back from watching Hancock (OH, MY, GOD) so I'm taking a night off modelling to rave about the movie to friends all night (Watch out Kirk, I'm coming for you. ;D)

That'd be a good idea, actually, The Open Doors model could feature the hangar model inside, and the shuttle could sit snugly (She WILL be canon-ily sized) inside.

That model was looking nice, until I came upon a very, very big problem. I started from scratch, shuttle model is 80% complete model-wise, Atai-class Warp Sled is yet to be built. The new one looks MUCH better, I promise.
