Nice shape :D kinda reminds me of Sorcerer/PDW Excelsior

The Sorcerer was to be an XCA, and I've been using an old P81 model as a guide, which also happened to be an XCA.

The circled bit. Also, the front near the top could do with a chamfer or 2. It wouldn't need to go down below the deflector though.

Those areas are a result of what I had to do in order to just get the shape I needed for the hull.  The only way I could really fix those areas is to redo the whole hull.  Took me several days to get it to this point, and it wasn't 100% what I wanted, but close enough.

I started work on the saucer and the beginning of the impulse engines.  The big pain is gonna be making those side engines pioneered by the Ent-B.

Believe it or not, the saucer was the easiest part of this ship to build so far.  :-p

The easiest parts to come will probably be the bridge and, if I choose to add them, the impulse crystal domes.

I'm gonna need it.  But I'm also getting some ideas for a U.S.S. Daihak, MK3 Chabot Refit.   :D

I've got an Excelsior kitbash for that.  Remember, the Chabots have registries in the 75000 range and above.

Ok, still strugging with the warp engines.  I can't seem to figure out how to make them.  And no, they're not Excelsior warp engines.  :-p  I saved a tut from someone on Scifi-meshes that I know I can use to make Excelsior warp engines if I so choose.

I decided to take a break in figuring out the warp engines to try and get the aux impulse engines out of the way.  I think I succeeded, but it took me several days to figure it out.

So, here are some update pics.  Keep in mind, I only worked on the aux impulse engines, and played with the look a bit.

All I've got left really to do is make the warp engines, make the sensor dome, a bridge and other details on the top of the saucer, resize the torpedoes so they aren't so big, and then extrude some phaser arrays.  The bitch is gonna be the warp engines and sensor dome, the warp engines being the more painful.

Oh, and Limey, I think I figured out a way to fix that little area you were talking about on the underside of the secondary hull.

The way the ship looks, i'd make something TMP progressed to TNG, kinda like a Excelsior engines with a TNG Galaxy flare to it, something like that.

Believe it or not, this is gonna be TNG.  You just can't see it yet.  :-p

Thanks, but I've pretty much hit a dead end.  I can finish off the bridge, impulse domes, and other details in that area, but the sensor domes and warp engines are really screwing with me.

I've been playing around all night in trying to create the sensor dome.  I can't seem to get it right.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm still working on the ship, just not as heavily as I was before.

I've made a sensor dome, but gonna change it slightly.  Then I'm gonna work on the bridge and smaller details, and resize those torpedo launchers.

The warp engines are still a pain.

very sharp and well designed.

be careful with the polies you cut in order to add parts, if any. when the nif is exported, some edges can end turned the other way around, screwing your smoothing.

Someone else is gonna have to worry about that.  I'm an SFC modder.  Just posted my WIP shots cause alot of BC models are really attractive to those of us in the SFC Community, and I know alot of SFC models have been ported to BC.  So we're kinda joined at the hip.
