WIP - Tokyo class(Original TOS)[Final Model Tweaking]
« on: November 16, 2008, 09:58:42 PM »
Introduction
After seeing the XI trailer i was inspired by the Kelvin to do this design. Well, i found a design and modeled it, really.
I needed some time away from the Edward, it was...aggravating me.

P.s. Shout out to markyd for the neck tutorial.

maybe its just me, but in screenshot 04 in your first post, the nacelle seems a little dis-proportionate to the rest of the ship. other than that, nice design and good looking model

yeah it is a bit off, I think part of it is from the shadow on that render, but even if you remove the black for better contrast, the saucer still looks a bit small compared to the nacelle.  I know you're not trying to make one, but I've attached the Diagram of the Saladin from the SFTM to show how that looks so you get a better Idea of the ideal proportions

Update...the nacelle mesh modified, texture made to look singular...

C/C welcome!

Ps is it me, or is the arrowhead pointing slightly down?

:O. Woah, I cannot believe that I did not look at this thread before. The ship is beautiful! And done in 14 posts! Even I couldn't do that.
