im a little confused - are these being made for BC?  or are these just beauty shots?
im assuming because this thread is in BC Modding because this is a WIP for BC?

I think at first it was "DO you want some" and people said yes and now its "heres this one....and this one...and OOH! That one!"
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Pretty much >.<!

I don't really have much in the skills of BC Modding. Here's what I'll do. If someone volunteers to do the conversion, I will email them the models I have done (the pegasus, and the high galactica; the low galactica is going to recieve a makeover :-D) and all the maps. They can then convert it to BC.

Any good modelers feel like doing some collaborations with me? There a few fanon vipers I'd like to add to the collection, and I don't want to get burnt out doing them.

you know what I think would make a good Colonial ship? The z-95 headhunter from Star Wars

http://www.phoxim.de/z95_headhunter/z95_fertig07.jpg

Minus the big laser cannons of cource.

The Z-95 was based off the x-wing which was designed by the person who designed the viper if I remember correctly.

I could see that; mount a large Gatling gun on the bow and replace the lasers with a pair of anti-toaster tri-firing missile mounts...

the Z-95 was basically a drawing that was an early concept for the X-Wing. It was indeed designed by Ralph McQuarrie, who did design the Viper for the original BSG (and the original Galactica herself).

I think using the Z-95, with its close ties to the X-Wing would be a little too obvious. I think the Scorpion (the one fighter I have with the engines at then ends of the wings and the long nose) is a close design to it.

So is anyone interested in a few collabs? I'll unwrap and texture :-D.

The Python. Based off of Larsen's take on a reimagined viper. Figure it would make a great heavy strike fighter.

The Fatboy fighter.

I think it would look better if the exhaust tapered and if the nose had more muscle to it.

Shouldnt the wings in the pictures be a bit bigger?

A little off topic:

How do the vipers manuver. From the looks of it, it seems they can just fly in a straight line.
