They need more "lip" e.g. bits of the hull covering the top and bottom of the torpedo launchers.

Sorry to throw the thread back a while, but can I ask how you built the Nacelles? Each time I've tried I can't seem to get them down at all. The weird bulge at the end and the way the front curves off just never seems to sit right...

Meanwhile, she's looking a beaut mate.

...Kind of amusing, my first attempt at the TOS connie set I made had less layers than that. :lol:

Well, the TOS Connie's warp drive nacelles are far less complex than the TMP Connie's.

I will try and model them in but if they cause mesh errors then I'll just texture them in

Dude, the fore of the neck is still wrong. It needs to be more forward. As I said, it needs to cut the upper outer two rings around the deflector in half. On the render of the CGI that Dalekanium posted it is done right (but the saucer port is wrong, the Connie has it only on the opposite side). Oh, and anyone from now on who makes the impulse crystal blue will be fed to fire dragons by me, it's light orange on both the 1701 and the 1701-A.

The nacelle is basicaly a combination of a chamferbox and a capsule BTW ;)

maybe draw your thinkings on one of his images so he understands  better ?  :)

apart from that it is nice work, indeed!
