Well, I know Lightwave has a procedural texture generator, which you can do some really amazing stuff with (IIRC: Destiny from SGU, for example, was sent off to the production team with a reasonably simple set of procedural maps. Infact I think they're exactly what you see on the show.) I've toyed with stuff like that myself for dirt effects, landscapes and such but never really got in deep, though I don't see why you couldn't make things like panelling/aztecs, or why something like Max, which seems far more widely used wouldn't have a much more impressive 2d kit with it.

I've always been curious about what Max can and can't do, myself, but the menu layouts and such are just so alien in comparison to what I'm used to.

DJ, you've really outdone yourself with this job, while I'm not normally a fan of the designs you push out (personal preference, and Century aside!) your skill is absolutely astounding, dude, and your drive for accuracy while giving canon works a little mark of your own never ceases to amaze me. A real inspiration.

Huh, it's been a while since I gave someone a cookie? Guess that changes today.
