Realstic Technology on load error

Ok guy's here's my console report that show's an error with realistic technology and or realistic torpedo's mod upon starting game up for the last few months this has happened everytime I am not sure how to fix it. The mod was made by genflet I believe and here is a link to his mods  http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/developer/glenflet;22335 any help on fixing this error is greatly appreciated.

It appears that a GFX.GFX module cannot be loaded. Check with the author if he's still around. From what I can remember this mod is known to be relatively unstable.

Thanks for your help Mario (+1Cookie!) I have sent the author an email though I doubt he's still around  :banghead: by chance is there anything else out of the ordinary about my console report? besides the shuttle lauch error I have fixed that  :P also any idea's how to fix the gfx error if he doesn't respond? do you know what gfx it could mean?

I don't see anything else, but for future reference use the code tags. It makes reading much easier. So instead of me reading it like this:
import math
print math.sqrt(12)

I will be reading it like this:

Short Answer: No.

Long answer: I could probably fix it however I'd have to download his mod and read his code and patch any calls which might utilize GFX module. I'm assuming that simply commenting out the import statement won't fix the problem, it is reasonable to assume that he was trying to import a GFX module to perform some graphical effects and this whole module is missing according to the error. Since the GFX module is missing any calls made to this module would require a custom module to be written from scratch for this. In the end I don't have the time or the willpower to download and go around fixing someone else's code.

There are several versions of this mod, try and download a different version perhaps.

Explained partially above, import error is thrown in python when a script contains an import statement however the specified module cannot be found or imported. Your guess is as good as mine about the nature of the GFX module, however based on the name seems it should be responsible for handling some kind of GFX. To demonstrate in the python shell I deliberately have mistyped an import statement. The error message states that it cannot find the maths module but if this module was created by me you as a general observer could only guess what this maths module was supposed to do. From the name you would conclude that it performed some math related operations, that's all you would be able to do.

Cheers Tyvm Mario you da man. I appreciate your wisdom and great help  :bow:. since the GFX won't load does that mean the mod doesn't work at all? I mean it seems like the torpedos act as they are supposed to i.e. pass through shields or what not. Just curious if it does hinder anything many thanks :thumbsup:.   :thumbsup:

Also off topic question why do Cardy Weapons only miss (inaccurate weapons) when sensor range on hardpoint is less then 840-ish? I know phasers on fed ships have a miss around 3000-ish or less. Is there a script that regulates compressors,phasers, distruptors in general for hit to miss ratio or inaccurate weapons/phaser thingy. Fyi I'm running a custom Km2011+Ds9fxented BC.

In theory yes, the module could have been mistyped. Python is case sensitive when it comes to these sorts of things.
