What size textures are you using, Tally? Just curious as want to experiment with higher rez's for planets in SPMod to see how far can go before fps/ game grinds to a halt
. At moment highest are 2048, but I've been able to run 4096. Also, if anyone has any cool new high-res planet textures, please PM me. Currently using sov001's HQ set (I think that was the last new one released, other than Killa/Moeds nebula pack).
depending on what else I am trying to accomplish I use either 4096 or 2048, I have 16gig of ram so don't get any lag really, though if I start to use a lot of high poly/hi texture ship it can.
Incidently I replied to the same question asking me of how I do my pic, backgrounds etc over on BCF and I had my reply pulled....why?
