Nice to talk to you DrMcCoy. Nice to meet you Jimmy, and thank you for heads up. Will do it in one post. ;)
I can assure you, with absolute certainty, that Olsen and Andrew Probert have confirmed that the Star Trek TMP up to Search for Spock Enterprise was engineering green. It was after the ship came back for Voyage Home that the Enterprise's engineering green became blue.
And now, I will prove it to you.
http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/attachment.php?attachmentid=25750Do you know who Andrew Probert is? Well, here is his email and you can take it up with the man who built the ship. And if you email Paul Oleson, he will tell you also that the ship was painted engineering green until it became the A in STIV Voyage Home.

He is a very nice gentleman, and he will be more than happy to set the record straight. If you email him, he will tell you it is engineering green for the first three movies.
Remember, this is constructive critisism. If you guys are satisfied with a ship that is the wrong color, thats on you. Appreciate your effort in making the ships, but somebody needs to get the colors right on this one day, especially with all the effort put in to get it done right.
And Paul can be reached right here.
