Luna Update
« on: November 16, 2007, 09:23:21 PM »
I've had some extra time lately so I pulled this ship off of the shelf and have finished texturing most of the stardrive; I am still dissatisfied with the sides of the stardrive towards the tail section, and I will probably just fill these in with small detailed hull plating (you can't go wrong with little "L" and "l" shapes, etc.).

Nice to see you back on this Cap. Russell, was hoping this would see the light of day eventually.  It's a quality model.

That looks great. :) I personally am getting rather font of the post-nemesis designs. The sovereign, now the Luna, they appear to be of a whole new generation of ships. I think as far as the designs no longer fitting under the title TNG, being of a whole new lineage. Ablative armour, trading the grey slates for black/grey/white patterns. I love it!

Looking good indeed, the aztecing on the hull looks vey detailed. My only "minor" criticism is that the row of windows you've added doesn't look quite straight as it goes down the side of the ship. Perhaps altering the texture mapping would help!?.

In any case, you probably know this already lol. Keep up the good work!!

This already is starting to look good....a good mesh reallyhelps.  Soon, there will probably be a video called "Battle of the Titans" involving this version, LC's Titan, and even WickedZomie's Titan.  Can I do a terran version when this ship is finshed......wait, that requires a different model.  Oh, well :).

I will be adding more to this ship over thanksgiving - hopefully I will have much more of it done by then - I have an exam in a really stupid class on Tuesday that I must give attention to, but after that I will have a few days off to work on this ship.

I also would like for some one to add some blinkers to this ship for me - would any of you be willing to do this?  This ship is already fully-hardpointed, so all that needs to be done is for blinkers to be added to the hardpoint that I have.

you could always add a phaser strip down the midship line and have it stop short of curving around the tail.

Ship is looking great and I hope it gets done soon.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

Damn, can't wait for its release

Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.
