To clarify what I said earlier, I wasn't criticizing you CR, I was only offering up a little advice.  As has been said, it's still a good looking model, especially since the Luna class has no representation in BC as of yet.

Nice to see you on the boards here at BCC Sean, It's Captain Elgy from the SCN forums here. I'm a big fan of your Titan design, congrats on your recently built 6" model for Star Trek: the tour, hopefully if the tour comes to the UK I'll get to see her for myself lol.  8)

Wow, the Titan's designer himself.  Well CR, you can't get better approval for your work than from the man himself.

Here are some pictures of the U.S.S. Titan Model
that is on display in the Star Trek Tour That opens this
weekend.

In accordance with Mr. Rizzardi's wishes I am limited in
the amount of pics shown.  Hopefully these will be enough
to wet you appetite to go see her in person.

I wish I could post more, but I don't want to offend Mr. Rizzardi.
These are some of my favorite out of the 193 pictures that he
Sent during the build.

Enjoy

Hopefully these will help in your build.

Wow...Art Asylum should get that and produce a toy based on it! ;)  Either that, or it should be a Christmas ornament.

Many compliments on your beautiful design Sean.

Of all the submitted ships for the Luna class, yours' was not only by far the best IMHO but also the most canon.

Eww, you used the C word.

Looking pretty good. And it's always nice to have the model designer praising your work.

great work on the textures.. they look spot on...

if i may... why not add detail to the windows?   it would add to this ship greatly, and the specular maps peeps have been suggesting, a quality addition also.

great model.. i look forward to seeing the end release  8)

And im in the UK also...   so if ya fancy going for a pint . . . and chatting about modelling, it would be a first for me lol  :P (everyone is invited obviously  :arms:)

Definitely a great design.  At first, like most, I was skeptical, but after seeing her beautifully rendered I knew that I was seeing the ship that finally pulled Riker away from the Enterprise.  And quite frankly, it's a better design than the one I came up with, mine was almost a direct rip-off of the Sovvie.  :P

I apologize to all of you for having not been around lately; I haven't been able to do any work on this ship for quite sometime due to school.  I am doing very well in school and am advancing closer towards getting my doctorate, but at the cost of my inability to commit to any serious or time-consuming hobbies as of late.

And Sean, my model and textures probably do not fully match your model, as I did not have these when I made it, but I believe that they will be very close to your studio model - the main differences between mine and yours are my Sovereign-like textures, and the bottom of my ship towards the aft section along with the shuttle bay, which is a traditional "garage" style bay instead of the Sovereign-style dome that's on the Luna that I've seen in pictures.

There's still a plethora of work to be done on this ship, as I have only completed about 1/3 of the dorsal side of the saucer along with my large stardrive texture.  Everything is on 2048x2048 textures with the exception of the registry information, which I will map to a 1024x1024 as with most SDT-type starships.  I hope that I will get some more time to work on this ship soon.

Nice to hear from all of you.

-CR
