Thanks for all the feedback. I've taken into consideration what you guys have said & came up with this 3rd version. Its a combination of the previous 2, however the colours are not as washed out, without a 95 year old face as a hull, & various parts are still use the grayscale normal map. This will be the final version of it, as I'm pretty happy with it. Also note the regs on the nacelles are fixed.

Another slight update which came up in the Utopia Planitia thread was the damaged Equinox's impulse drive colour, so that has been changed to an orange colour. I'm keeping it this way as at this point the Equinox was badly damaged so you would presume the engines aren't up to scratch.

Next few updates are hp's. The B'omar, Type 9, Rhode & the unicomplex have all been fully hp'ed.

First ship, the B'omar is armed with 2 phasers at the front which aren't that powerful, but will do damage, but the thing with this ship are the torpedos. Armed with 3 front torps they can fire 3 each at a time, each torpedo wacks out about 900 on the damage scale, so you don't wana be hit by them suckers.

Second ship is the Rhode Island. Considering the Rhode Island was in service when Janeway was a wrinkly old wreck, I've made this one pack a punch. Armed with normal 150 photon torpedo's & 80 new quantum torpedo's doing damage up to 2350, you really don't want to mess with her. The phasers alone do max damage of 950 so she's nothing like the good old Nova Class. Shield wise there they range from 21000 to 17500 on the back which means they're pretty strong. I had her in a fight against a few klingon ships, and all I'm saying they didn't stand a chance lol

Third ship is the Type 9. Only being tiny, it has 4 phasers & one torpedo tube. 2 phaser on the front of the nacelles & 2 just under the side windows. It's a fast little ship & very hard to hit with torps, so don't rule this one out straight away :P

Fourth & final update is the Unicomplex. This beast isn't going to be beaten so easily. Shields & Hull Armour are insanely high & it's armed with a few Borg cutting beams near the central bit. They'll cut you to bits that's if you can reach it without being hit by one of the 40 torpedo tubes situated throughout the complex. Each torpedo tube throws out 15-20 torpedo's every round, so it's very unlikely you will survive lol I tried in the type 9 and like I said I managed to reach the centre, however I was then ripped to bits by the cutting beams.

Right that's all by chattering done. I thought for once I'd tell you the armaments :P

Enjoy

Equinox: Fabby.

Rhodie: Now she looks kinda creamy coloured and not that metallic...talk about us being picky little what-names. :D

Well that's strange, because the hull colour wasn't one thing I changed! So me thinks Dalek is being a tad picky & should get on with KMR! :P

Ever thought it's just the light in the system.

Very nice, I can't wait to retire Lord Vader's old Rhode Island model for yours. It was good for her time but getting a little dated now.

Very, very nice.  Glad to see you took my advice on the escape pods.  :D

Cool armament roundup!  That Unicomplex complex sounds like loads of fun!

In many of those shots I can't even see the polygons.  It's so curvaceous.  Just how many polygons is it?

The equinox impulse manifold is still the wrong shape, but you've got it right for the Rhode Island. (not to be a nit pick as I really don't care, but if you're aiming for the highest quality, I figured I should mention it. :] ) As depicted below, the impulse manifold is actually more of a flatter rectangle with a "black-and-dark-orange" stripe pattern for the manifold aperature itself. What you have looks cool, no doubt, but on a personal level I prefer as it appeared in the show. Good work so far guys. :]

[both images that show the equinox on the viewscreen]

in any event your ship looks fantabulisticness! :P

Edit: there's also a smoothing issue on the Rhodie's butt... just above the shuttle bay... looks like it's just not a part of that smoothing group or something.

Yeah the Nova's impulse drive is slighty out, but we're gona keep it like that, besides I've just altered the size & shape of the impulse engine texture to make it look a bit more like that :P Artist license & all lol

Yup noticed that aswell on the Rhode, it's on both sides of the bay, so we'll get that sorted out.

Just a quick note... Any testers on here, I've just uploaded all current ships available to test :P

Oh and here's a scale comparison of the unicomplex. The first pic shows it zoomed in to show all 4 borg ships, & the 2nd one shows it fully zoomed out to show most of the unicomplex. I would say it's pretty big :P

Very little infact. I've had 8 cubes + 13 odd fed ships & it was still playable.
