But their heavy scripting it's me making lol - like custom travelling methods, nanoprobe tech...
It may be boring but it isn't hard to make ship scripts/hardpoints and system scripts. And with BCUT ship plugins is dead easy too.

This mod still aint done yet? 8)
LOL thats not the worst part. Besides the planet/systems and ships, there's still a "3? phase" of the DQP they're planning.  :P

Out of curiosity limey, when you say finished, do you mean fully HP's as well?

I've hped everything apart from the Suspiria Array & Caretaker Array whic Tiq done, but apart from that, it's looking good in terms of hps :D

Yup Frontier's definitely the main man when it comes to the heavy scripting lol I'll post updates on that stuff later on this month.... maybe :P

Great to hear.  I was thinking that everything was just textured, but being HP'd really brings this a lot closer.

I have a complaint about the Maquis Raider.  It's minor, but I think important.  Just glancing at the pictures, something seems out of scale about it.  Either the body is too wide or the dorsal and ventral detailing is too small compared to the main body.  Either way, it looks stretched.  

I am loathe to post reference pics for fear of being chastised, but there is no other way for me to show what I mean.

You can see how gigantic all the dorsal greebles are compared to the main hull.  And they extend all the way out to the edges, filling up the entire dorsal section.

Also, while the engines and cockpit sections are very accurate, the overall shape of the main hull is very simple compared to the actual shape.  There are many more angles to it, and it isn't nearly as long as you've made it.  The studio model is very delicate, but with the huge main hull you've given it, it looks like it's been blasting its delts at the gym a little too much.

Don't think I hate your model.  I still like it a lot, and it's a million times better than the only other existing Maquis Raider out there for BC.  I just think it could use some reshaping.

upon closer inspection, i do believe he's right.

The mesh is a hybrid of various studio & cgi shots of the maquis raider, thats why the main body is different & was noticed when texturing. We may rescale the main body, all depends on the difficulty.

Anyways Update again, The Krenim Timeship :D I can definitely say this is the most canon Krenim Timeship in any game :D

Oh and they are normal maps, as in the ones you get in legacy :P

BC's engine doesn't support normals.  Did you bake the normals into the texture?

WOW.  The model and textures both look amazing, but that lens texture stands in a league of its own.  Making it partially transparent and giving it a specular map really make it look like glass (or a material with similar light properties).  Nice work!!

This thing looks very high poly.  Can it damage in-game, or is it like the other timeship that's out now, where having damages on will crash the game?
