That ounds cool. Especially the Krenim stuff. That's certainly a breakthrough that the ships get erased instead of destroyed now. :)

Totally, that sounds awesome!

BTW, I dunno if this has been asked, but how are you handling names for the ships that were just unnamed-alien-of-the-week?

I loved the Hirogen when the first showed up but the "putty-fied" them real quick.  I will have fun with the Hirogen and Vidian ships the most.  The detail on them is...hmm hmm good.

One technical questions: Can the ship erasing be applied to pulse and torpedo weapons? (might be a good update for Baz1701's V'Ger)

We've concentrated on the more "well-known" ships throughout the series so naming is easy ;)

It might be able to, but someone else would have to look into making it via ftech as im busy with various jobs.

thanks

Talaxian Fighter

While making screen shots of Basics part one for my attempt at a model of one of my favorite ship, the Kazon Mothership I noticed that the Talaxian fighter is not as small as I thought it was.  The way they are shown is about the size of the Maquis Raider

Indeed one step ahead.
I also noticed they had 3 Engines.  I found pics on  Ex Atris that showed one engine.
But heres the screen cap.

There also seems to be an interesting slit like window comparment in the front.  I'm even wondering if it's the same ship.

I might be wrong, but I think I see some differences between the screencapped Talaxians and your model. The head section appears to be a slightly more complex shape, the brown part narrower. also, overall, the screencaps make the ship look a little 'cooler' and less like a space schoolbus :p

Hardly a major issue, it's an incredibly minor vessel.

It's not just you but the One on this thread is as represented by the Star Trek Fact Files

http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/scans/delta1.htm

It's just a general orthographic of the design.
Unfortunately we don't have exact profiles of many of the Delta Quadrant ships.
It's sad really.  Somewhere there is a hard drive with all these meshes from Voyager.
What I'd do to get my hands on them...

Not to be mean Saquist, but could you either upload the image to photobucket or just give us a link to the EAS page itself.  They don't allow links to photos.
