No, me and lint just got bored :P! Lol, joking :P!

This model is just under 15k, but the that it sits on is gonna be on this model and the entire thing loaded as a ship.

You guys have literally made me one VERY happy Aeries. Will this have the tunnel effect I suggested, whereas a wormhole could open up if you entered an aperature and like... that wormhole could lead to earth? Or all of them could lead to individual systems? Also, I think this could be made with it's own individual system, heavily borg-populated, with the odd giagantic glowy thing, positioned inside a dense nebula... I can just see the possibilities...

Sorry for pressing, I'm just so excited to see this being worked on! :D

Well as i said to limey over msn I still concerned if bc can even handle the scale of the transwarp hub. Thats why i didnt want to release to the public until we knew if we could. And for the question of it working so different appartures go to different quadrants, well lets just say that might be in the works ;)

Eeeexellent.  8)

I don't see why bc wouldn't handle it, though. It handles planets perfectly fine. :/ but maybe that's somthing alltogether different...

i have to agree...DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYUM!  would most fit my category of words....this looks great guys keep it coming.  And the size issue shouldn't be that big of problem either, you got to think about the Starbases also, not just planets

But the entire model has got to be the size of a sun, but 2 or 3 times the polys, it is turning out to be a problem. With just the hub (no sun) at what we think is full size crashed BC for me. I then scaled it down to 0.1% of its original size and it worked. So we will try it some more, but its not looking too good at the moment. Sorry for getting all your hopes up.

It'll work. Might just take more effort to figure out. I have faith in you all. ^_^ Good job so far.

Ok after a 3 week vacation i think im ready to get back to this. I've tweaked the borg cube textures, and begun texturing the 8472 bioship. 1/2 the body is done, so pics of that should be posted soon.

Comparsion pic of the new cube textures, top is bc and the bottom is the show. I think they are definitely better than the ones on the page 3.
