isn't that whole big platform the bridge?

I was thinking that.

Curtis and Vortex are right, actually it was intended from me that the hole first deck is just the bridge and a captains room

I would say thin out the aft section a bit, at the moment its kinda... chubby and as a result it makes the ship look for lack of a better word 'diddy'

although that may just be me, other than that great job on the design and modeling/texturing thus far keep it up

I agree, perhaps just a little more like the intrepid?

A bit like the Defiant?

I think this is looking really good so far. I know i'll DL it as soon as it comes out.

I'm gonna assume that the area indicated in my pic attached, is "Deck 1" which would include:

Bridge
Briefing Room
Captains Ready Room

and possibly

Transporter Room 1

If my assumption is correct, doesn't that area need a few windows? :P

Yeah, there is deck 1, and there will be a few windows, but I'm not so far with texturing yet :P

We certainly do need small escort vessels cuz they're simply backbone of every fleet + we don't even have any decent nova so this is great idea and really good model ;) keep it up

Will this ship be around the same size as the Nova class or will it be a little larger?  I like the white hull color as well...definitely reminiscent of the 'Enterprise A's'  hull color.  Very clean and new looking.

thanks guys, to answer your question: she will is a bit bigger than the Nova, but not much!

Sorry for the lag of updates, but i wasn't able to work on my stuff in the last 2 weeks, I'm very busy with
school at the moment. But at the end of this week my timetable will be a bit discharged and I will have afresh
a bit more time to work on my ships :)

I have to admit that i neglected this ship the last few months, but
I get back to it  :)

I finished the textures and ported the ship to max for lightmapping!
Also, I spend some polys to round some edges. The polycount climbed
a bit, but with 6,7k triangles the Theseus is still relative low poly :D

I also work atm on a little variant of the Theseus without the big
cut in on the top saucer. This will be just a variant, no refit, that
means, beside the cut in, the changes will be mainly on the hp, and
not that much on the model itself or the textures.

Enjoy the pics :D
