Awww, the poor Captain Obvious. frown

Here, have a cookie.

Ta :)

I did however make a silly stupid mistake..
I ordered my samsung spinpoint F3 1TB from overclockers UK.
It turned up today, so I opened the box with the enthusiasm of a 6 year old on a bouncy castle in jelly town. And guess what they sent me?
a friggin' wireless router .
*head hits desk*
Yippie yai yippie yai yay yay.

I had something very similar happen to me a few months ago,  I ordered a Thrustmaster HOTAS throttle from a company through Amazon for nearly a hundred dollars, and when I opened the box, I got fax toner.  I called the customer service number in the box and they insisted that they never had such a throttle available in their store, then when I asked for a refund I first had to explain to the idiot on the other end that I did not have a fax machine, and thus did not want the toner, then I had to threaten to file a complaint with amazon in order to get him to give me an actual refund instead of store credit.

I guess I should get back on topic, here's my desktop

thanks :)

i really do enjoy shots of nature and places on this planet and looking at scenery...  alot of the time, we get so busy with day to day routines, we forget just how amazingly beautiful nature is, whether it be a small quiet corner, or from way up in the sky looking down over a vast distance...
with all the different countries, cultures, societies, etc - every one of us has one thing in common and thats this planet :)
we should cherish it and take better care of it, and i hope one day we will because it is all we have...

Quit it with the damned mushy stuff and look at something more manly.
Like THIS  :D

My idea of how the YouTube layout ought to be. One click video download options under the video and No screen cluttering useless comments.

And that's exactly how my Youtube is using the "comment snob" and "1-click youtube video downloader" Firefox addons. :D

(Hey, the internets are often part of your desktop as well!)

I never notice the comments unless I post one... and the reason being is I have the video always in its large format. everything is below it then...

The DO X. Bloody big seaplane I must say.

I'm not such a snob about that. I just put up with it like I put up with british army bureaucracy and bullshit.

Hey, there's no app available to turn an SA80 into a P90 ffs!

Make no mistake. The nice thing with an uncluttered desktop is that you can clutter it.

For example, everything I download, always gets saved in the desktop. And when I work on something, again everything gets saved on the desktop. Documents, 3d models, pictures etc. I simply collect everything in a folder and file it somewhere in the hard disk when I am done with it.

So you clutterists, simply clutter your desktop once, whilst we anti-clutterists, get to clutter our again and again. Often many times a day. :P

a desktop resembles that persons desk.

As you can probably tell my desk is full of clutter. But I never fail to find exactly what I want/need within 15 seconds :P
That's on my desk btw. The desktop takes a little longer.
