I was wondering if you still were planning on doing all cannon registeries for the Excelsior and refits, using ID swapping or will it just be the Excelsior (NX and NCC), Enterprise-B and Lakota?

I could do all the registries, but honestly, who uses all of those ships? I could make a few extra ships that were used frequently in the series, like the Crazy Horse, Melbourne, Hood, Valley Forge, and maybe Righteous for fun. I also have the engine warm-up script working. I'll start adding this to the other Excelsior ships.

I'll also see if I can get the other ships (TMP Constitution, Miranda) to use ID map swapping. Who knows, I'll rebuild my Kelvin (a bit tempting) and use map swapping for it too.

It's too early to tell. What we have is:

TMP Constitution (ST2/ST3/ST6 Enterprise) fleet?
TMP Miranda (Reliant) variants?
TMP/TNG Excelsior (NX, USS, Refits) fleet?
Centaur (TMP/TNG version)
Regula/ST1 observatory (built, untextured)
Spacedock (partially built/textured)

It's a lot of ships. I do have plans for more things to add, but I would like to get a few more of these ships out of the way before I start building again.

That's a lot of ships and stations. :shock:

If I may make a suggestion, I don't think we need too many variants of the Miranda...at the most, the Saratoga with TNG weaponry, but I don't see a reason for the Sitak(or whichever one had the extra impulse engines)...the main ones we ever saw were the Reliant, the Saratoga, and the Majestic.

Wiley, you've done retextures for the wacky ones before, I don't think you need reference shots.

You're gonna be busy for a while though Wiley, but just for being willing to do a project of this magnitude earns you a cookie. Bravo.

Exactly. For the Miranda, we have the TNG/DS9 Saratoga, Lantree (without rollbar), TMP Reliant, DS9 Majestic, and Brattain (TNG: Cause and Effect).

I tend to think of it as several smaller projects.

The Brattain was from TNG Night Terrors, and had the famous "USS Brittain" misprint on it's saucer.

The ship in Cause and Effect was the Bozeman.
