It looks like a thin version of the "Federation BOld" except not bold. :D
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Yeah, but there's a noticable difference between Fed bold and what he's using.  Check out the 1's compared to that of the original Fed Bold :)

This is looking great, this is thoroughly changing my opinion of the new Enterprise...

The font is called "Jefferies" and I found it on dafont.com.

Looks excellent.  I only have a couple of nitpicks that you can ignore at your leisure. :P  The registry.  It's the right font, but the U.S.S. Enterprise is curving the wrong way.  It should be curving towards the bridge, not the saucer edge.  But as I said, this is a small thing and doesn't detract from what is a gorgeous work of art.  To quote a certain actor who once played a certain starship captain, "she is ship-shape." :D

I'm sorry to add one more small nitpick...the blue impulse engines...shouldn't they be red or orange? I'm not that worried about though the ship looks great regardless.

Here's a picture of the Enterprise in MPE.  I've fixed the registry and as you can see, the bussards are completely white.

EDIT: Images removed because the ship has been released and to save up on space.

Nope. I just re-watched the 2nd hd trailer and while they are more of a very light blue then on Wileys model, they are most definatly not supposed to be red or orange.

Very Happy

Again, not quite right. I rewatched the first trailer in HD and while true the registery isn't curving towards the saucer, because of the way the saucer is made, and the angle at which it is seen, it looks like the 'U.S.S Enterprise' part is curving towards the bridge, when infact it is not curving at all. It is dead straight. The actual number part is also mean't to be closer to the edge of the saucer, like on the Kelvin, or the Kelvin-prise, lol.

I was going to suggest the same things to Wiley, but he seemed so happy with the final result *I am too aswell, lol* it wouldn't have been polite to criticize.

Please ignore the crudity of the schematic picture or the fact that it has the wrong registery or the fact that it isn't the jj prise, but since there is no top down view of the jj prise, and the fact that I am limited to using MSPaint to change the picture (didn't use the correct number because MSPaint doesnt do curved text, lol) I had to use a TMP era Connie schematic to illistraite my point.

Its very hard to find a top down view of any of the various versions of the Constitution Class, lol.

You can sort of tell how close the number bit is to the edge of the saucer section in the hd picture I attached.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Here's another comparison picture.  We can only get so close from the existing picture before the text looks too stretched out and unattractive.

Also, notice how unbelieveably huge the font size is on the screenshot from the teaser. Don't change your font size though Wiley as it looks a hell of alot better then the trailer screencap.

Looks fine to me.  Now, those bussards...that is a problem.  No idea what could be causing it?  :?

Also, notice in the screen cap that "U.S.S. Enterprise" is off center. :)

By golly he's right! :P  Honestly, that was very early on, so they've probably fixed that by now.  Either way, the original 1701 had the name curving towards the bridge, so it only follows that this one would as well.  Here's hoping that you get the bussard collectors working.

Like I said, don't change the font, aside from the changes I pointed out   :), because it looks a hell of alot  better then the screencap.

The registry never curved toward the bridge -- it is straight.  Only when you are looking straight forward at it, the slope of the saucer gives the name a curved look.  The bussards still need work and I don;t know what the problem is.

No it didn't. The name part of the registery was dead straight on the TOS Connie aswell.

Honestly, you are beating this to death.  To qoute Billz's sig:

Now, on topic:
Keep the registry the same Wiley.
About the bussards, I have no idea.  :(

My last option is to forget the animations and do a glowing texture.
