The fighter is now fully textured, and I am now starting the Captured version with the repaired hull panels. The ship is 4.4k using 1 2048-res texture. The Alien version features a more neutral texture while the Captured version is bluer. I also added picture of Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum in the window, and an alien for the alien version. Enjoy!

Makes me sad that BC won't display this fighter that good.

It's very close to what it will look like ingame. That's not bump-mapping, it's all textured on. Plus, it is not ingame yet, so we'll find out eventually.

Perhaps, for the Nuke, you would be given permission to use the nuke weapon from the Stargate packs? Smoke trails and all?

I wonder is there a way to trigger a small explosion, to put physical damage on the tip of the launch tube, when it's launched?

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Actually I was referring to the fact that BC hates small ships and doesn't let the camera get very close to them before making the model vanish. :P

I've never flown it, but how well does the Danube Runabout fair with the disappearing act?  Because the attacker is not much shorter (18.28 m).

Well, I just checked with the Danube from DS9FX. That one didn't disappear.
And if that one is at right scale(and I do believe it is) there isn't any problems.

The textures for the Captured Alien Attacker are finished. I'm now exporting the model.

And both are now ingame. I may not be able to build/texture the mothership, and new Troop Transport for their release in July. I was planning on the mothership being stationary in its own system orbiting Earth with ships moving inside with a tealish nebula interior. I still have yet to hardpoint these ships.

That is "just friggin' amazing!", as I found myself involuntarily exclaiming after the pic loaded.

Is to be expected when you take the call for no reference links out of the thread title. :p
Welcome to the community, and kudos for trying to help, Robby, but Wiley likes to do his own research, and usually does it very well.

That should be read without sarcasm.

Wiley, that idea about the Mothership system is fantastic. It'd be well worth the wait. Maybe just release the CD, troop transport, and the fighter for July 4th? (if you have time.)

It sounded like a good idea. It will also solve the problems about the Mothership moving.

I was getting tired of always having the "NO REFERENCE PICS" in my title to my thread. Is my thread the only one where this is occurring?
