I'm not criticizing the quality of the model itself, I'm simply saying that I think the design itself - the way it's shaped - is not attractive.  An ugly but well-executed design is still an ugly design.

you can disagree all youd like - it is the way you have been so blunt and frankly rude that is really not cool and pissing myself and alot of others off...
Hideous.
I'm sorry, that's just so hideous.  It looks like a frisbee that's been melted in the dishwasher.  And the nacelles are the worst part of all.
insulting someone's work as rudely as this, with such an arrogant and snotty tone, is not tolerated here - so do it again and youll be banned ok?
if you cannot critique and maintain respect while doing so, dont post your opinions at all or do something better...  as the old saying goes, "put up or shut up"...

anyway moving on...

Nice to see someone dare to be different with a federation ship, you are a credit to the whole modelling community, great job  :)

Snappy job on that ship, mate. Has a real nice, organic flow to it, on the same level as the Galaxy class does.  Very impressed. You just keep managing to top yourself each time.

Wow... all I can say is wow...
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

That's what I try to do. I might have another Proteus-inspired ship design coming soon.

And here's a teaser: http://trekmodeler.deviantart.com/#/d34df88

It's a WIP, and I am not too happy with the top view-- I still need to refine it a slight bit, make it less "spoony". Enjoy.  :D

Can't always tell with a  shadow like that as there is no depth, detail, or body lines and a perfectly good ship can look downright odd.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I see what you mean about the Spoon look but that side profile looks amazing.  Can't wait to see more of this development.

Just like stourangeau (Titan designer), I've removed all traces of my Enterprise-F from my deviant art page as stated in the official rules for the contest.

Well, I suppose that makes sense, keeps people from going, "Well, I really like the look of that, I think I'll use it and change it just a little and use it myself."

Would this mean it prevents the BC Community from getting a chance to play with your Enterprise-F before the Contest has ended?

Oh Darn I missed it. Oh well since we vote on the design it should show up in the gallery on the site.
