I would think your super awesome Cardassian Galor you've been working on would give you reason to re-install your BC  :D

Got me there.  :P

There are some slight differences but this is very impressive.  That first shot looks as though it's the same angle as the painting in the ready Room.
I'm looking at the bussards and their very delicately done in this rendering.  I wish BC could do shadows like this.

excellent coverage on phaser arcs..love the new photon torpedo sounds as well... battled the Sovereign tough..but the Ent-E won out over the Ent-D as it should be... another quality piece!! I have no complaints at all..plus it looks amazing!!!

Utterly beautiful!

Now you've got me wondering where this texturing foul-up is...

I have 2 candidates:

The impulse engines on the saucer, I always thought the grills on them were horizontal, not vertical.
Or it could be the upper edges of the nacelle field grills in the fan-out at the front, they look a little stretched or misaligned.

As you say, a very minor blemish on another absolute jewel in your crown! WELL DONE!

Top quality mesh as always Wiley, even though I'm not a huge Galaxy-class fan.  Good luck on your next project.

Got a question; how did you do the necelle pylon registries? I tried for about 2 day when I worked on the SNS/P81 retexture to get the registriest on the pylons to go toward the front and couldn't do it.

I don't exactly know what you mean- do you mean:

How did I skew the text so it is slanted?
How was the ship mapped in that area?

My first opinion is that the SNS galaxy is mapped differently and your registry text is cutting off of the mapped area.

I am refering to the slant. Both your port and starboard pylon registries slant forward but I was forct to slant the port side aft on my retexture. How did you do it?

Have you tried moving the text aft THEN slant forward?

In Photoshop after you have typed in your text, go to Edit>Transform>Skew.
