There are so many designs in fandom these days that it's hard to push the envelope without stepping on a few toes.  This is just enough of a change that it works.

Agreed.  And Wiley's sure taking a great approach compared to some of my design efforts that were either a little too conservative or too Frankenstein-ish. :funny

I wouldn't know about those, so I can't say.

maybe I'd like em more if they were longer.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Ah, but then it'd look like a Sovereign, and Sambreign is already cutting it close with the name. ;)

The refit coloring is done, along with changing a few alpha channel lights.

I'm also compiling a list of "canon-enough" registries for the TMP Constitution Pack.

Later tonight, I'll post a list of what I've finished so far.

*Some of the registries are "refits" or rebuilt versions of TOS ships that have been lost or destroyed. The list below is compiled from Ex Astris Scientia, and Memory Alpha. 18 possible registries:

Constitution 1700
Constellation 1017-A*
Defiant 1764-A*
Eagle 956
Endeavour 1895
Enterprise 1701 & 1701-A
Essex 1697
Excalibur 1664
Exeter 1672
Intrepid 1631-A*
Potemkin 1657

Hood 1703
Lexington 1709
Kongo 1710
Republic 1371
Yorktown 1717
Farragut 1647

List is deliberately not in alphabetical order. It is to help me with for what I have yet to make.

Nice range of registries Wiley. One thing don't make the Republic an -A. There are 3 in the pack already and I think not having her as an -A really helps justify why she hasn't left the Sol System since the 2320s

Sambreign Class starship: pronounced "Sam-bree-in"
37 decks tall, new ship design featuring elements from the Excelsior, Proto-Enterprise C, and Sovereign classes. This is a ship design I've been tinkering with for the last month, and it is nowhere near completion. I still have yet to add many details, and a possible saucer separation with custom captain's yacht. Enjoy!  :D

Oh I like to much of this one! You did a perfect integration of things from different ships like the Excelsior, the Sovereign, the E-C, the Odissey and put your own bits over her too. Have a cookie Willy!
I can?t see it there but, I believe you can put a torp launcher (or megaphaser) over the top of the "nose" of the sec hull. ;)

Looks like a igh polly Willey! Just one thing claims my attemption: looks like the glows for the impulse engines are a bit exagerated or out of place. ;)

I can easily change the spotlight glows so they are less intense on either side of the main engine.

What is it with people and megaphasers?  I'll stick something there.

GODSHIPS FTW!!  Lol

Seriously great job Wiley!

Galaxy X made it cool.  It's the subsequent uber godships in BC modding history that killed the potential. :P

Great set of ships.

When you get to this stage, please remember to make it so none of the above ones that have the same names as other ships (e.g. Endeavour, Defiant, etc.) don't overwrite said ships  :D

No problem. All of the registries have been created (9 with green coloring, same goes for blue).
