The warp engines need to taper off, not end in a block, and I preferred the warpies without that cowl thing hanging over the bussards.

Still, good work!

Maybe make the impulse engines like the ones on the Kelvin.

This is a newer ship than the Kelvin though, a lot newer.

But something that looks similar but newer might work.

How many times do you reckon I could get "newer" in one post? XD

I'll try to build the fronts of the nacelles similar to the ones shown in the "Enterprise under construction" pic.  They look much simpler.

This is what my mesh looks like now- 21k polys.  I've changed the nacelles, added fins and the impulse engine.  Enjoy! :D

I think I just had the biggest nerdgasm of my life!

I can't wait to see this in-game.
And just curious, could you also get it out for Legacy?

Oh, and if you need help texturing, I really would love to help be part of this beauty.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I can texture this ship myself.  I might release this ship for Legacy also, but I have no clue how to.  Once I get the mesh for the Enterprise done, I'll probably start on the Kelvin.

.....The Enterprise needs a shuttlebay.

That it does.
If you need help porting to Legacy, just go here: http://forums.filefront.com/star-trek-legacy-1416/

Also, if you do the Kelvin, could you also possibly do the new shuttles?

Mad props to you Wiley.
Lol, every time I see your name shortened to that, I just think of Dr. Wiley from Megaman.

The impulse engines are seperated and the back of the nacelles are pretty much flat from what I can tell. Also have some reference material of the Kelvin which I will post when I upload them to FF(eight images and I don't want to make two posts).
All hail the messiah!

There is only so much material on the Enterprise, the trailer barely shows us anything new on it.  There is much more reference on the Kelvin, but the Enterprise is moving so fast in the trailer, you can't make out anything that relates to each other.  There will probably be more pics/reference closer to the release date.

So upload 1, and zip the rest.

I prefer the Kelvin style engines and the warpies. its too perfect now and I feel like it might be spoiled if anything new is added or changed.

1. The cowl on the warpies looks much more like the film.
2. The back view is beautiful!
3. Don't screw up the shuttle bay!

Looks like the impulses are similar to the TMP ones except further apart and further down. And the shuttle bay looks like a big cut out on the bottom section of the secondary hull.

Right now, I have Kelvin-similar impulse engines.  I'll try to make TMP-like ones.  I changed the slope of the neck so it is a little less straight-- it now has curved sides if you are looking straight forward.  I'm thinking about changing the bridge.

I say, no need to change the model at all, at least until new images come out, which could be months from now.
Just texture it, she looks spot on, and if there are tiny things wrong, big deal, she still looks great. Then you can start on the Kelvin. :D
