Does anyone have some ideas for the shuttlebay?  That's the only part I'm somewhat stumped.

I'd do something like this, since it's the only movie version of any shuttlebay we've seen:

Hate to bring this up Wiley, but I just noticed something off, I highlighted it and added a couple of suggestions in the pic...this is what I get for watching the trailer over and over again.

And I agree with Johnnymuffintop.  Just make it a bit sleeker and "fluid" like the rest of the ship.

I'm not seeeing the gap in this pic, all due respect Shadow. Is it possible that's a slightly old pic? Ive circled it.

As for the ship wiley, I love the Kelvin impulse engine. I think the shuttle bay should like the Kelvin's except make it more more intune with the new technology. Make the doors sleek and graceful, not a blob. :D

Here's a ship I've been working on for a while- Gabriel Koerner's Reimagined Enterprise

You know, if you just strap on your JJ Enterprise nacelles onto this beauty, we could have two for the price of one.

Dalek, I was looking at that pic.  :P

From the construction site pic, the second "ridge" of the neck needs to line up with the "cut-out" that leads to the deflector.  I have shown this in the attached screencap.

EDIT:  Sorry my eyes are playing tricks on me, but yeah, considering Wiley just updated with a fixed version...

Hate the ship, but think this looks great :)

Niiiiiice.  Now just get that shuttle bay, slap some textures on her, then HP her.  I want that ship before the movie comes out.  :P

Besides, it's not like you can't redo it if the actual ship turns out different. :P

Oh, she is beautiful. I barely noticed the impulse change and I don't care! I like the shuttle bay as well. Oh, gimme gimme gimme.

Its certainly a possibilty. But I'm not going to tell you what to do. As long as she looks really really really really cool. Like the JJPrise.
