ok after really taking a deep look at my model i found a few *MANY* faults that i really would not accept on my mesh, i wanted this to be my BEST mesh ever and there where lots of problems on it, and many vert's i didn't even need. COMPLETE waste of poly's. so i've started again and this time i've had a couple of angel's speaking in my ear.
Complete with 25 or more new skill's i have completely restarted the strider and personally feel this is the best one yet. probably could do better by the time i finish this one but at the moment i'm more than happy with this one, both of my savious are plsed with it so far too. now firstly i want to say a huge thank you to both Adonis and Marky D for all the time and trouble they've been through explaining things to me, in short 3d max modeling 101 lol. so with out my gabbling on for another 2 pages here is the new strider class (untextured and no smoothing groups as yet) i would like to add that as this is not a cannon ship i've added a few things and changed others. it's going to be a frigate NOT a scout as i think she should be more for attack than scouting, imagin a tmp defiant for example. also i've given her Aft torp's
