Those tiny bits are still there on TUC. Just not glowing anymore.
If you take a good look at the bottom of the deflector on that 3rd pic you'll see them ;)

Well, Mark has finished with the model (as mentioned on a number of pages) so I'm assuming Dawg is thinking texture wise.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

The difference would be to add a glow or not to add a glow ^^
That's texturewise as far as I am concerned :P

There no big difference.
The blue dots around the deflector are glowing on one pic and on the other they're not. ;)

actually they are there on all 3 pics...

you can just see them near the bottom of the large deflector on the last pic.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

They are glowing, just you can't notice it well because of the lighting.

Hmmm anyway I will make them "glowing" I think for certain

Quite funny actually after looking on where those lights around the deflector needed to be on my mesh I realised that on my model it was a little narrow.. so I adjusted somewhat, but cant go any further without adjusting "too much of the mesh" at this point.

** edit**

after looking at more pics, i noticed those fins on the deflector were more narrow than mine, so for the last time i have drawn a new deflector..  ***2nd img**

finished the insignia, took a while to draw it accurate to the studio model, but done.. and the front sections are mostly mapped so lots of pics tonight.  :D

*modify*

Also adjusted the impusle engines..  (they now have a blend of all screenies I have seen) I think it works well, and should satisfy all the talk about them like 3 pages ago i think :)

Sorry that the updates are in small portions, but i want this to look right.. and there is no point in taking 10 steps forward only to be told to change certain elements.
