I lack anything to *really* nit-pick at. Good stuff. Cookie coming your way.

Okay, only nitpick I have is with the nacelles, and that's very small.  In defense of my nitpicking, when I saw that aft view, it took a second glance to know that it was YOUR model and not a view of the actual model.

LOl love the comment but are you refering to the trek XI connie or the refit?.

CyAn1d3 Looks like your using low detail textures. Can you try copying the following from Hi to Low: -
secondary_glow.tga
nacelle1_glow.tga
nacelle2_glow.tga

I have check the file and the game and the ship works ok with 1024 res high and low detail, no med detail the ship will only appear white.

As I said on bcfiles: Very impressive. I think your V'Ger belongs to the history books of the Star Trek Gaming Community. :)

I don't want to offend you but even if it is impressive, I think there's room for improvement:
First of all, I think the weapons range should be increased.
And second of all, there's a major bug: V'Ger flies backwards. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

I look forward to your next ships. And perhabs to an improved V'Ger with the bugs fixed and perhabs with a cloud. :)
If you ever want your V'Ger to have a (de)activatable cloud, I highly recommend that you consult with the scripters in the BC community.

Good luck. :)
TaH pagh, Tah be.

i do that with all ships i install, i copy the "high" folder and rename it "medium", and that has worked fine thus far. its a habit im afraid, i check the texture folders on all the mods i download, because not everyone incorporates medium texs.
ill re install and go through the paces again and see what happens

I do the opposite, I copy medium textures into high folder, if there are any.

Hmm, your pylons, if you cut a horizontal cross section, would like like rectangles, correct?  I think they should be more like ovals.

I'd like to add to what FarShot is saying. Make the pylons as a cylinder with maybe 10 or more height segments and bend the shape to the curve of the pylon. That's how I would do it. And use a FFD to make the other curves shown in the side views.

JJMiranda is up on BC Files

Enjoy.

I'll look at ovaling the pylons later on the MK4.

You might take a look at this, don't know if you can do the nacelles and shuttle area like this.  Still, a far better effort than the very first one. :)
