Just a quick question regarding Spec maps. In the Max matiral panel which map do you apply them to. I have tried specular map, made no difference and also Specular level and the ship started to glow bright white.

For the specs: You need to turn the contrast way up so that the individual panels are really obvious.

Yes they do (thats there purpose

) but for them to show up a lot clearer the contrast between each hull panel needs to be different. It's why DJ's ships look so brilliant. Panels he doesn't want showing up are in bacl and panels he does want showing up are in white.

Wow, that actually looks like something we could see down the road. Though the only thing I see is (and obviously this is in the land of "what if") that this time around 1701-A would be the only Enterprise reg on this ship. A new reg for a new ship.

There Will be a 1701 & a 1701-A texture all I may do the other Connies as well (Hood, Exeter, etc)

Hey Baz, how about changing color on secondary hull top platings from pale green/blue (not certain what color is that) to blue, like on Gabe Koerner's Connie ;)

To be honest I'm not a fan of that ship. I may change the top plating but I want to keep it feeling like a TMP ship.

The pylons are easily my favorite part of this ship. Great work mate. Definitely captured some of the essence of the new series.

She the perfect blend of old and new.

Although, (yeah, I know, I hate to be "that guy" to add a "but...") I personally would prefer the warp grills to be more of a teal like the new Connie, and have them glow on both the inner and outer side of the nacelles. But I guess I'll just do that myself if I REALLY can't stand the more TMP version.
