Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a more NuEnt deflector, seeing at it is now, it kinda just looks like a blend of Phase II and TMP with curved nacelle struts.

It's looking better. The gray outline around the bridge module and the impulse spine should be closer to the structure. Also, the bussard collector gridlines should come from the come from center and not horizontally/vertically. Don't forget to add the phaser emitters and maneuvering thrusters. :)

The JJPrise is now full textured (still have to sort out bussards and add alpha maps).

The spec maps are making the ship glow is this right?

Dya think you could show an image of the glow map anhd the specular map? Cos I don't think the specs are working...

Here are the two saucer maps.

The glow map is set as diffused at 100
and the Spec map is assigned to specular level at 100

Could be there is no alpha channel yet on the glow map?

Turn the contrast up more on the specular so that it looks almost black and white. And make it negative.

Adding the alpha to the glow map would also help (I think).

The specular map would have to be greyscaled, then to cause less lag (and to simply make it look less clogged up) negative it so white goes black and black goes white and all should be ok.

Also, don't apply an alpha to the specular map cos then it covers it all up.

And it only looks really good if there are seperate panels. Like on DJ's Galaxy (pic uploaded). Look at the hull plating on the saucer. The brighter panels are white on the specular map and the darker panels are black on the specular map.

Baz, the maps look fine and are acting they way they should in the render.
