Those squares should be smaller and more rectangular in shape.

he's right, they should be rectangles.  i think, at one point, they were supposed to be  underside-only Landing Pad feet, at least on the refits.  i wonder who first thought to turn them into lit areas?

I might be a bit late to the game here... sorry.

I've noticed that the proportions seem off slightly. It could be some strange perspective to the max renders, but the nacelles look... 'fat'. Too big compared to the rest of the ship. I might be wrong.

This is certainly the best version of a TOS Constitution that I've seen. I can't help but to stare in awe at those pics.
Definately worth a cookie!

As an aside, I'm surprised that there aren't that many replicas of the TOS Connie already out there. (But this is still #1 IMHO)

The texturing on the TOS connie is looking MUCH better. The red under saucer rings should be much thinner. Maybe a few pixels thicker than your gridlines? Also thought the details beneath the engineering hull, mainly the red circle, should be gold with a red outline. You are getting better.

Hmm, the furthest aft square should be white with a red outline, the rectangle in front should be white with a dark grey outline, and the fat t-shape should be a light grey with a dark grey outline.

Other than that this looks awesome, i'm liking the azteching, although is it going to be applied to the rest of the model?

Indeed.
The only other thing is that the impulses were never actually seen to be blue. They were always greyed out.

In the TOS-R they are red, I was planning on changing them to that colour

This Connie has a ruggedness which I like. Fantastic job here. :D

Hmmm...couple of quick things, I think the dark grey rectangles on the inner side of the nacelle pylons should be a little skinnier, and there's something odd about that underside sensor thing on the bottom of the saucer.  I think there's too much glow there.  Beyond that, she looks fantastic.

One thing i'd do is remove the glow from the aft domes on the nacelles, they should be a very light grey as far as I know and don't glow.
