Try to bring the spherical objects on the thing to resemble a geosphere wireframe (also, you can safely kill some of the round segments on the bottom sec hull dome with it too, it won't take away from how it looks and you will save polies). Also, look out where you will have symmetrical detail and where not, and only kill the symmetry lines where you don't need them (will help you loads when mapping). I did basically the same thing with the Galor/Keldon I did for Excal, all the polies which have asymmetrical detailing are mapped as such, the rest was mapped with symmetry modifiers over the unwraps in the stack.

The mesh is getting better, but all those blank faces need edges or they may wield horrible outcomes on conversion.

I'll but out as you and Jules (Adonis) seem to be sorting this out between you,

Kudos and a cookie for making the effort for a unified mesh mate, trained eyes appreciate such things  :D

A sign of a true artist

I did a text export to make sure it would export ok and discovery some horrible errors on the belly of the aft section.

Everyting else is ok and smooth so this will be my next focus getting these fixed.

***UPDATE***

Rebuilt the bottom section to remove detail. Will re add later.

Also reduced the poly count alittle more around the dome.

I've been busy the last few days with packing so no time to work on the K'tinga.

At lunch today I started a klingon shuttle.

No this will be the Amar (ST:TMP). For Kronos one it will need a grey, red and gold paint scheme and tweaks to the model (the bridge for one).

I thought the only difference was the paint job

Not only the color and golden additions, the the insides of the nacelles are different too.

Light tracer errors fixed, there was a couple of open edges that I missed. That is all cleaned up and the mapping fixed.

Also have 80% of the ship mapped now and will be on 3 x 1024 textures.

The Klingon D7 and K'Tinga Class vessels have always been favorites of mine. I have always liked their design and am looking forward to adding this to my Klingon fleet. Like the attention to detail on this mod.

Wholeheartedly agree with that, some of your best work. Textures are coming along nicely.

Great Job.
