Minor niggle:

I think the saucer needs to be sat a little further forward on the neck. The over hang at the back looks a bit big compared to film caps and TR's renders.
But it took me a while to notice that, so no pressure ;)

Liking the textures so far!

No, it's actually the right size.

That is certainly a radical redesign of that ship.

It serves as an auxiliary support craft in the event the ship becomes crippled and scuttling the vessel is the best option.

Bad news with a silvery edge.

My memstick has died, lost all my data. Saving grace is the Phobos and Reliant-A were on my main HDD and I had an older back up of the JJPrise, though all the textures I had done to date are gone. nearly two weeks work gone

Also lost is the original files for the SP mods I recently did and my Space office / regula 1 stations

Ouch!  That sucks.  I know what that's like.  Why I now make multiple back-ups on different drives, just incase.  Don't give up on this.  Your work is superb.  Re-doing lost work can give you an opportunity to discover new and efficient ways in building the model.  This could actually be a good thing for you.

Man, between you and Bones, it seems like this is a common thing these days.  Glad that the model of the Enterprise ended up being saved, but the textures :(
