Baz, I have a copy of all the sfsy- and our sfrd- stuff. If that would help?

I did a back up not long ago so I have everything upto the start of the space offices. Here is a list of the stuff I have lost: -
Orbtial space office max and original photoshop textures
Regula 1 max and original photoshop textures
I have the Galor max file but lost the original photoshop textures
Keldon max and original photoshop textures
Kessok light max and original photoshop textures
Kessok Heavy max and original photoshop textures
Hybrid max and original photoshop textures
All textures for the JJprise V6
Ambassador class started for the contest.
JJbridge.
I have the Galaxy, TWOK and reliant bridges but not sure what state they are in and if they are finished.

With the exception of the last 4 items I have NIF models and TGA textures so they are finished but will not be able to edit the textures without starting over.

A damn shame that the bridge for the JJ-prise was lost, I was really looking forward to that.  At least the model of the ship wasn't lost.

Have you tried going to one of these data recovery places? I vaguely recall seeing ads about it not so long ago..

I have tried several data recovery scanners without joy and not upset enough to pay to get them recovered.

I have formatted the stick and moved on.

If the Delorean wasn't in the shop, this would've been an easy fix... aside from getting my hands on some plutonium from the Libyans.

Damn that sucks, sorry to hear that. Technology can be a fickle thing  :(

No, it's actually the right size.

Compared to TR's version it's definitely a little off:

But like I said, it's minor and TR's may not be perfectly accurate either. I just noticed as I pretty much have his orthos burned into my retinas :funny

Well, to be honest, I've yet to see a 100% accurate representation of the JJ-Enterprise.  Though in most cases it's a small detail that throws it off slightly.  And in any event, Baz's model looks the closest we'll get to BC.

Best of luck Baz.  Make backups of your backups.

EDIT: Baz, found out some information about the model kit coming this year from Revell that's nice for scaling.  The model is 23.15" long, which at 1:500 scale implies that the "real" ship is 294 meters in length.

Not to open up that can of worms again, but I wouldn't take the word of a third party model kit over the 725.35m explicitly stated in both the blu-ray bonus features and the art of the film book. That and all the evidence in the film itself.

As I mentioned in my contest thread I don't get bogged down with exact size of these starships. I scaled the last JJprise 50% larger than the refit connie. I might rein this one back down to the scale of the tos/refit connie.

And yes the bussard domes are transparent so you can see the fans behind.

In my opinion (regardless of what source says x size), the JJ Connie would be pretty close to the same length as the TMP Connie. The most damning evidence for this, is that the saucer is virtually copied from the TMP version.
