thanks but at this stage I can live with it, since the nacelles are now attached to the main hull. But I do appriciate the comments
I would still maybe consider the deflector, but fair enough ;)

Will you be texturing on the shuttlebay(?) between the pylons?

Are you scaling it relatively to the enterprise based on this shot?

It looks a bit too monstrous in those shots but that could be the perspective.

Can't wait to see her textured :dance

Fantastic job Baz!

Still sad that we never saw her use the bfgs/railguns. If only the Klingons would of showed up at the moment they should have.:(
All hail the messiah!

I must say I was quite disappointed as well. To show us those guns and not use it. To not even show us a Klingon Battlecruiser take on the Big V. Ehhh. Definitely a Debbie Downer move.

Ship now fully mapped to 4 x 2048 maps. The eagle eyed amoung you will spot the revised deflector and rebuilt nacelle end caps. The gun doors would be far more hassle than its worth at this stage.

Looking good

Minor thing, The top of the bridge extension is flat rather than stepping down to the sides.

May have added polys you didn't need to but it is minor though ;)

At this stage I think I will leave as is. moding the deflect messed up the unwrap, don't want to do it again.

you do know if you collapse the stack, it will embed the UVWs untill you apply a "remove" modifier.

you can then model to your hearts content and not hurt the rest of the uvs except for where you're directly working, worse case you just have to re map that small area.
I came, i saw, i added a Sig.
Later gents, i have Youtube to take over.

Sorry no plans for a whole saucer version.

Progress is slow due to RL issues.
