Yes, but this is not the place for arguing about that.

Yes, quite.

Good to see the new Captain Kirk has good taste in music though :arms:

Did some experimentation with making planet textures in Max, I'm kind of pleased.

I dunno, I think what you had before looked better.

One thing you could do in the intro that would make nitpickers like me very happy, is set the planet models to not cast shadows on the ship.

I know it happens in the original intro, but that's just as much a gaff as the lower saucer bumps being applied to the upper saucer.

The shadow of a planet at that distance is simply nowhere near defined enough to pass over a ship like that. Things like that, and one of the shots of all the basestars over Caprica in The Plan (some of the basestars are partially behind the limb of the planet), really bug me. It's lack of respect for the true scale of planets.

Anyway, that's my little bit of OCD input. VERY nice work on everything else, though.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Of course it would! The edge may be a little fuzzier than I made there due to clouds and things, but you can't get around that fact that when you're on the opposite side of a planet to the Sun, it's dark, and when you're on the same side, it's light! That transistion has to take place somewhere.

actually, that looks exactly like unrestored TOS planets.  mabey you should put those out in a retro pack.

It wasn't, Brex's connie was just the first one I came across that I already had fully prepared for use in Max.

We did?

I'd recommend making a Kelvinized Daedy first.. it's not so much different from the original one..
