And break temporal prime directive if you must, I wanted this ship ever since I saw the first WIP-shots. And if blank textures will be available, one will/must be named NCC 1974 - A, USS Constellation.  :D

As an addiction to the mod pack for tis ship is the Mark 2 RRTF refit. Still a bit to go but let me know what you think. I was thinking a MVAM with the star drive ans the 2 nacelles as one and the saucer, impulse wings and the tops weapons pod with top nacelles as the other. Problem is i can't get the MVAM sovy.

I like the idea of external weapons pods ( give it pulse phasers for strafing runs! :evil ), but how about making those shuttle bays like in Galactica? a Carrier version perhaps?

Strange but my first thought was that the upper nacelles could move down the wings/swords for some sort of uberWeapon to deploy.

Thinking this further, there could fit that "additional pulse Phaser Battery" from EF2

History of the COINIUM MK2

In 2379, 5 years after the return of Voyager star fleet's R&D was quick to explore the new Quantum Slip Stream (QSD). Built and designed to house the new drive system the Corinium class was born. Powered by a Duo Core warp reactor and equipped with all the lattes advancements Star Fleet Command quickly postponed many ship yards current projects to speed up production of this line of ships.

2381 the first of 15 Coinium class ship was completed. U.S.S. COINIUM past every test Star Fleet but her through and when commissioned Admiral Grims spoke " My friends, this is the future of Star Fleet, and she's got horsepower!" Later in the year the QSD was installed. During the first test of the new QSD a fatal error occurred. The board was green the order was given to enter Slip Stream. Once inside, ship personal started mapping the phase variance in the slipstream but not fast enough to calculate deflector corrections. 1 minute in to the test Command lost contact and the crew of the Coinium were never heard from again. With the loss of over 1500 crew members the order to builed the remaining 14 vessels was given but further development of the QSD will be delayed until further notices.

Hope for the Coinium was not losted. In 2383 a heavily damaged U.S.S. GRIFFIN brokered a deal to replaced there drained crystals with a new Crylithium power source. When the R&D examined the Crylithium and found the it's power is 4 time grater the there own a Federation envoy was sent for trade talk. One year later a new Coruinium was refitted with an advents computer holographic system thats sole purpose is to fly her in slip stream. The Coruinim Past QSD test and was the first official ship to be entered into the Rapid Response Tactical Fleet.

and you've left open a possible "Voyager all over again" :P  this time without the inconsistancy.  and you KNOW one of the Voyager crew was on that ship, and immediatly went "Oh, God, AGAIN?!" :funny

this is the same kind of Failure that was written up for Transwarp.  I can just see one of these with "NCC-2000-B" in the registry somewhere :P

Nitpicks:

Voyager returned in late 2377, thus 5 years later would be around 2382 at the earliest. By comparison, Star Trek: Nemesis takes place in 2378, while the ST: Countdown prequel takes place around 2389. Might give some ideas in where the Corinium Class might fit in.

Is this the USS Coinium, or USS Corinium? *confused*

DT: Your right, i read some where that Voyager returned in 2375 but maybe it was 2377. And this is the RRTF MK 2 Of the Corinium class. Her name in the show will be R.R.T.F. ANTIDA.

KCS: With everything new there is a beginning.

does that mean there's a "Londinium" on the registry list?  you should stick with that naming theme for the class.

Ooh, sexy little thing you've got going on here!  I'm reminded of the Aegian class from STArmada only with a nice pleasant vibe!

Oh, just thought I'd pop in and say 'ello to all you chaps.  When was the last time I posted?  3 months ago it feels.

EDIT-
Holy Stromboli, new smilies!!!  :dance

it would be nice if we could have the following in the registry:
NX/USS CORINIUM (capital of the province and only surpassed by londinium)

USS DANNICUS (a roman trooper buried at corinium in 108AD)
USS (SEXTUS VALERIUS) GENIALIS (a cavalryman buried at corinium 109AD)
USS GLEVVM (loacal town know known as Gloucester)
USS LONDINIUM

Sorry for not posting earlier...comp nearly exploded and I'm confined to a BC'less laptop. :( Once my comp is alive again, I'll finally get round to testing the hp of the Corinium.
