Nice shape for a saucer-  we don't have a lot of triangular/trapeziodal shapes. It looks like the saucer is a ship on it's own. Is it meant to seperate? Overall, it looks like one of those John Eaves concept ships for ST: Online.

I'm still debating if  i want her to separate. I always believed that a ship is stronger as a hole. WHat do you guys think?

i agree stronger as a whole...

but if each part is designed to be its own ship they would be strong

ie: design a ship then have it added to another part.

to clarify :  a ship that combines rather than separates world be strong as a separated ship and stronger as a combined ship.
also imagine if starfleet had had 40 combined starships against the borg that would (depending on number of parts) be a lot more ships... with two parts thats 80 ships, with 4 parts that's 160 ships ;)

This will look better as a whole ship, but it could easily separate. I looked at your ship and the neck and engineering hull look a bit vertically squished. I then tweaked the mesh a bit and came up with this (see attached pic). It now looks more like an Excelsior/Galaxy hybrid.

If only I knew what the nacelle pylons look like as well as the nacelles, I can help you out with your ship design better.

W: There is still some bits on the nacellas that i'm working out. I'll email you them in a bit.As for the pylons, have not a clue, i was originally going with mayhem class style, then i seen Baz's JJverse Conne Refit and loved them. Once i send the necellas, you'll see, might have a good idea.

I seen a pic posted in the ST: Online topic yesterday and went crazy. THat is an awsome idea for a tatical combat ship. So in my crezey way i started modeling, lol. Below is my interpretation of the ship seen in that pic. I cant build her perfict as for there is only one pic and i need to see more of this ship to do it right. But using my imagination i filled in the gaps and tweeted the design to fit better with the fill in's and this is where i sit now.

The nacelles are angled in the wrong direction. They should look like this /O\ instead of \O/.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Typicaly, yes. But with this design it would connect rignt in the grillie. But i love it this way, makes it look edgier and sleeker.

No offense but it looks very clumsy like that.
