Yeah...I'm guessing thats extremely high-poly.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Combined with the fact that the Lexx is a 10 km long ship, this model would certainly crash the game on hull impact. It has to have atleast 5-6% of her current poly count to be worth a port.

10% would be enough even... Stargate pack proved that, as well as one of Lints models...

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

Yeah, but nothing short of the Ancient City Ship comes nearly as close in size to 10km's from that pack. As bigger and as more polies a model has, the worse it damages, and lags the game too. V'Ger supposed to be 98km long, but I dunno how big she is ingame, and how many polies she has as another example.

So deactivate damage if it's a problem. The LEXX never left anything after it destroyed something, and never got damaged because, well, it's the most powerful weapon in the two universes. ;)

Heh, I could get in a Marduk Mothership in all her 50km glory ingame without damaging and see what havoc she wrecks, but that's besides the point. If a model cannot damage ingame properly, it's a waste of time integrating her into the game.

Kind of like L4D2 being sold down here. ;)

I love the model, dude! Was a huge fan of LEXX, and it's about time someone brought it up as an idea for BC. Who knows? Maybe some time we'll have Kai or Zev in place of Saffi. :P

Wasn't there a way found to get huge things to damage properly?

Still, beside the point. There's no way a half million poly ship is going to work!

In any way, properly optimized, I'd really like to see her ingame.

what if we fudged the real statistics and made it say, the scale of the doomsday machine?

Scale isn't the issue really, it's the poly count.
