Cinqnic WIP's 3d printer ship
« on: February 18, 2010, 03:48:36 PM »
right here is a ship throw together in a few hours, i have use parts from DJ Curtis original Vivace class but if he does not let me use parts i will rework it, but this is roughly how the ship will look, if people like it then i will put alot more work into it, after the falmouth design is finished, any people let me know whats what ??.......................................

!!!!!! UPDATE!!!!
i am now reworking it with all my own parts so dont worry Dj Curtis i was only using the the pictures of the model to show how the ship might look

It kinda looks like a mix between the Raptor and a fish.

And I don't think DJ will allow its release. It's been his policy since '09.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

It's kind of cool, but its kind of rude to post befor permission is given. That being said, i would like to see more of this design.

i posted this due to let people know what the ship would look like and i have sent a message to DJ to ask him if i can use parts of his ship on this design but if he comes back and says no i can re work it and build my own its just that his ships are the dogs $%**$%, but this is a plan of the ship and i will rework it to the same design but use new parts.

that rocks. Needs phaserbanks though. Hope he allows it.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I hate to say it, but you might as well get started on building your own, DJ generally doesn't allow any of his stuff to be used by anyone else.

generally DJ doesn't allow modifications or kitbashes of his work. If you PM him, and *wait* for him to respond, he'll get back to you when he's able. Otherwise, it's disrespectful to the artist to use his/her work without prior consent, regardless of the circumstances. I also suggest reading the "readme" file for terms of use. Last I checked, DJCurtis noted in there that he does not allow his work to be modified and particularly, not redistributed.

hi people right i ve had to sent up a new account due to my old having problems,
i have rework all the ship with my OWN models and textures,
the ship will be MVAM  ie if you see from the pictures the saucer section will have it own warp engs they are place under the grey grill on the sacuer and do raise up when in MVAM, i am working on the engs now, and then will start on the weapon points i am real happy with the texture that ive done the best ive done so far,
any way feed back would be very greatful

FOR STAFF MEMBERS

Nah I doubt it, unless you broke some rules but it's unlikely, you would get warning first ;)

the aft of your ship reminds me of D'deridex and overall design looks like that Azati-Prime future Enterprise, cool ;)

I'd make the warp engines a lot bigger.

They still look far too small.
