beta report.

YEOWSAH!  I've never seen a dom battlecruiser go down so dang quick.  the Hutet I dug up went poof awful quick, it ran 50/50 with a borg Sphere before I called for help, and it took out the most agile ship I have in my collection, a hard to hit borgified connie that makes the bugs look SLOW.

note, I had some damage issues on the saucer.  the underside squared out some damage, though the e hull damaged normally

Thanks King Class Scout.

She is a 25th Century Era ship so it's going to be a bit much for the Dom ships.

"a bit much" is just about perfect, in this case.  often as not, in this case, nothing less than a dominion war ship will get through the shields of even a galor with the KM i have. things are a lot tougher with the set of ships that came with KM 1.0, rendering all the time you put into those TOSes totally useless.  all she needs is a set of speculars.

King, you lost me there on the TOS ships.  Do you mean ships that are in KM 1.1?  I balanced my TOS against the Klingon D pack and Andrul Connie.

I'm still running KM 1.0, and even your TOSes can barely put a dent in the sheilds of the cardies in it, so I use them cautiously.  I'll try rebalancing two of my older TOSes (with energy leaks) to near yours.  wish you had a TMP under your belt so I can fix this one ship...

either way, well done with this HP.

If TOS ships were putting holes in 24th Century vessels, I'd be very concerned. The Cardassians would never be that weak.

Well, I've tested her. She has plenty of punch, but even with thrusters set to full, she was often out-manouvered and couldn't use the pulse weaponry to its full potential.it survivedd with shield damage and slight, very slight hull damage until I pitted it against Borg sphere, which was pretty even match until I switched to quantums and teached them how to assimilate death.

Beautiful ship, honest to god I remember the first work you hammered out way back when and I got to say, wow you've probably made the most progress out of any of us.  If we had one, I'm sure you would get the "Most Improved Modder of the Month" award.

Strong, and smart is all i can say.
Love everything about it, except the pulses that are too yellow and need a icon, other than that, it is great, 9.9/10 (why- nothing is perfect)

Oh noooo ! don't drop that flipped design :nono: it's really cool and I would love to see it refited ;) I even got an idea on how could you mount weapons pods on to it ;) place two weapons pods, each on pylon wing

haven't read the reviews, yet (or the POTD listing), have ya bones?  the concensus for the Australia was "what the hell were the starfleet engineers smoking when they came up with that".  a conventionally styled version might intice more people to pick up the Australia as well.  besides, I like this one, too.

While I do like this one, I think refit of Australia with wing/pylon-mounted flat weapons pods would be uber cool :)
