I'd leave the warp field governor inside the saucer, toward the aft and replace it with an underslung tactical module a-la the Phobos or U.S.S. Reliant as it seems appropriate for the Romulan War era. Add smaller impulse engines in the edge of the catamarans/saucer hull. Leave smaller shuttlepod bays or cargo bays in the ends of the catamarans where the impulse engines once were.

Here a update i started working on a refit on the uss affirmation, from what people have left ie to quote from kent a bc filefront member

ok this is a beautiful ship. my ONLY issue, my ONLY impassible issue is that weird, wide area where on say the Enterprise-E would be the shuttle bay. The vertical detailing which seems to speek towards right and left opening doors of a bay of some sort, just don't make sense. I personally feel, to give this ship an added dose of amazing, to maybe do more detailing around the cowling of that structure. A shuttle bay, some torpedo tubes, maybe more docking bays or work bee launching doors would just be so nice on an already beautiful ship.

That large uniform pattern just seems like an after thought. and it doesn't do the model any justice already, and that is a grave injustice.

There's also one issue with that area in the published version: that door/hatch/opening remains lighted as if in direct light even when it's in the shadow side of the ship. possible alpha-channel issue?

thank you for letting me know that, but sadly my knowledge of alpha-channel is none, i only know how to build ships and GMunoz
hardpoints my models but he has alot on with his TOS ships, so might need some extra help with the new refit.

no it was arse's design, but Gmunzo hpd it, and i tested it some time ago, i remember the ship had a ton of torpedoes that tracked too well, but were overpowered, and too slow
