oh ffs - why do people have to be so blatantly dishonest and think they can get away with it???
how absolutely utterly disgusting people can be!

those of you in the STO community - please please, i beg of you guys, please make an issue of this, and bring this up loudly for everyone to hear and know about, and dont let these thieves get away with taking someone's hard work and putting their own name on it, aka blatant stealing!!!
please keep us posted at bcc of the events...

Despite my abolute disgust at people stealing other people's designs, I think the hammerhead Ent-F shown in the other STO thread would be a great design if they went with an Intrepid style saucer :D

:banghead: :banghead: I just saw that. I'm now starting to think that people are posting everything and anything they could find and claim it as theirs. No effort at all. It's just a matter of time until someone posts DJ's Enterprise-F.

that's already happened...

EDIT: silly BCC put me a page behind and I didn't realize it.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Yep.  Somebody has posted my Enterprise F as their own.  I'm going to report it.  The way they're going about this is so wrong.

Seems like anything submitted automaticly gets put up on the site, seeing all the joke entries.
They seriously need to have everything go through moderation before being added to the site, right now they just show laziness and irresponsibility.
but yeah, the thefts are stupid, I've seen both the Century, and the Soulwolf (from BC-files) in the gallery so far...

it would be one thing if people asked to put up someone else's work - for example, if i asked DJ if i could submit his ship and he knew about it and i called it "mine" just to get the ship ingame....
but these kids are just grabbing whatever wherever and tagging their name on it, as tho they built it from beginning to finish, and asking it to be considered...

anyway, im done ranting about it lol  it is just pitiful, the whole thing...  i just hope there is an uproar and some justice is done...

This contest is shit.  Hopefully they'll make some changes, cause I know my submission has been voted 5 stars from at least 6 people.  I'm sure with all the complaints about spammers, they'll add more buttons for community moderation.

Anyways, since you can vote for multiple submissions each once a day, you all should totally vote for mine. ;)

I'm a bit hesitant about submitting mine (when I get it done), because the website needs fixing.

Lol, even the freaky concept art for one of the earlier movies has been submitted. I doubt Cryptic would even bother to ask for proof of ownership, but eh, kind of saw this coming.

Now that is what a Federation starship should look like. Right a way I can see both the Sovereign and Excalibur inspiration in this design. Very cool.
All hail the messiah!
