There are always possibilities....

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I figured I'd resurrect the Kelvin, using the Resurrection herself for parts.

More like early 25th century.  Since I'm using Resurrection parts, might as well have her in the same time period.

make sure that thing has a badass hardpoint if it's getting PDW textures.

This is cool! I love how this has started out. :]

I gotta strongly disagree with this being Post-Dom War tho. She's certainly a late TMP/Early TNG ship isn't she? (as in, created just prior to the Ambassador/Enterprise C)

That's what you'd think, but look at his re-refit Constitution. ;)

As I said earlier, early 25th century.  Since I'm using the parts from my Resurrection, which takes place in 2420, I might as well have this Kelvin in the same time period.

Ok, here are some updates.  As you can see the lower neck is thicker and longer now.  I thickened up the nacelle, mainly cause with the thicker neck, the nacelle was too thin for it to rest on.

I also made the upper neck connecting to the engineering hull.  However, after looking at a picture of the actual Kelvin, I might try and design some sort of connecting junction, so it doesn't look so plain.  Also, I might modify the forward upper torpedo launcher to integrate into the new neck.

So this ship isn't completed yet, but somewhat close.
