Sentry is a better name...Mainstay is just another way of saying Cannon Fodder

To keep the throwback to the AWACS aircraft, you could call it the USS Sentry and possibly the USS Mainstay. If you don't know what these are, google "awacs sentry" and "awacs mainstay".

Ok so after asking about the federation i actually got a few Yes's Which i must admit i didnt really expect, seems to be quite a populer little*big* ship. Now as you all know it has 3 nacelles. NOW the nacelle on the top is the same as the ones on the main pylons *cannonly* which has a Regestry number on one side and the flux thing and pipes etc on the other, NOW i see these as a loop now with two nacelles these pipes face each other and in my opinion help create a stable warp field, SO what would happen if there was 3, Imoh the one at the top would STOP the flow since it dosnt have the pipes on both sides, - now i know this is not cannon *i can get away with it on my ships as they're my design or my interpritation* but i've opted out of cannon and gone for a dual sided nacelle on the top, so both sides look like this!

So now i've been openly honest - LET THE FLAMING BEGIN

this is why I asked for a little texture help with the star empire, which is basically a pointier Fed class.

I think it looks better than the original design. I'm still not a fan of the front and back of the secondary hull, but I can't blame you. Feel free to make your own derivatives.

excellent thinking the doubled nacelle config would enhance the warp field giving her greater control in warp but would be a plasma hog in terms of fuel consumption. Most Logical. (I ouwld put in a smiley but theres no vulcan smilies available) so have a dawg cookie

if im to be 100% honest i wanted to finish off the federation class first and that's my objective for tomorrow start changing all the textures to tga and then the max to nif - speaking about textures i make mine all ine 2048x2048 now for computers etc what should i do

Sweet - Get them done tomorrow it'll take me about a day or maybe two to learn the CORRECT procedure for porting to nif but after that, *ill ask wiley and baz for help if need be* u should have them and u can start your Hp'ing - at the point I need to get my a$$ in gear and install my BC! lol
